The original "Respiration" was done by BlackStar (Talib Kweli, Mos Def & Hi-Tek) featuring Common. I decided to spit an updated verse on it because I'm a huge fan of all those artists but also because I had something to say. I wouldn't say I'm a "Conscious MC" because I don't want to have any labels that will box me into any particular sound. I'd just say I'm a regular human being with eyes to see & a mouth to voice the things I notice around me. Since I've used both my eyes & mouth, use your ears & listen clearly. Enjoy.
